STEM Videos
Remote Learning
So, what are the programs and resources that the Alliance can provide? In this time of remote learning, the Alliance has stepped up and been rethinking ways that its volunteers can connect with children, teachers, and parents.
The decision was made to produce targeted STEM educational videos. More than 25 homegrown, short videos, targeting topics suggested by elementary teachers and students, were produced by our volunteers and are catalogued in the SFAFS’s Educator’s Guide in a digital remote learning library. They were produced with kids in mind, embedding best practices of building vocabulary and problem-solving skills, using more graphics than written text, and including challenging checks for understanding activities and home science mini-investigations.
Check out these amazing locally produced STEM interactive educational videos that have been vetted by teachers. These and other videos, which have been archived on a Google Drive webpage, can be accessed from a Santa Fe Public Schools Google Drive webpage here.
