(NOTE: This form will be updated periodically so check it often.)

    YOUR INFORMATION SECTION...

    LESSON REQUEST SECTION...

NOTES & INSTRUCTIONS FOR FOLLOWING CHECKBOX-FORM:

    1. Please select only 1 lesson per form submission, because the above "YOUR INFORMATION" section is usually different for each lesson. You may check and un-check any of the following checkbox items as often as you wish before clicking the SUBMIT button at very bottom of this web page. Just be sure only 1 checkbox is checked before clicking the SUBMIT button.

    2. We will make every effort to fulfill your request, but all of our programs are subject to volunteer availability

    3. All current lesson presentations will occur remotely.

Special Note: Old lessons existing before COVID were all designed to be in-person formats; so they are (Currently Not Available), which is abbreviated below as "(CURRENTLY NA)"; and those items were all pushed to the end of their checkbox lists. They may become available again in the near future, when in-school learning returns; so we left these unavailable lessons still visible in their checkbox lists for your information. Unfortunately  it was not programmatically possible to disable these "(CURRENTLY NA)" checkbox items in the form, so their checkboxes still work. Please do not check any of them. That would be a user error. You would be requesting a lesson that is currently unavailable.

    4. All videos mentioned below can be accessed on a Google Drive web page linked here. More videos are always in the works so keep checking!

IMPORTANT: Click on the following document title to view the Digital Learning Guide explaining most videos.

Special Note: Be aware the titles of these videos, as listed below, may not exactly conform to the file names currently at the Google Drive site. If necessary, contact SFAFS. Also, lessons which say "video only" may not require checking their checkbox, because presenter-coordination may be unnecessary. In that case simply locate the video, download it, and show it at your convenience.

    5. If you would like to request a program not shown below, please briefly explain your request in the following text box:

Please select the one lesson checkbox below that you would like to request with this form submission...

COMPUTER SCIENCE - SECRETS IN CODE SERIES: (grades 4-6) In this series, students learn the fundamentals of cryptography, learn about several methods, then get hands-on experience in coding secret messages.
COMPUTER SCIENCE - COMPUTATIONAL THINKING SERIES: In this series, students learn about the different methods of thinking and reasoning that are used in computer science.
(Please see http://users.hubwest.com/hubert/mrscience/science1.html for additional details.)
A series created in partnership with the Santa Fe Animal Shelter.
